Day 135 - Florida Museum, Fire Starter

This device twists as you move the horizontal handle up and down. The point, spinning on the wood base, created heat which could catch dry grass on fire.

Our guide, Lindsay is letting us into the Fort. Henricus is the second permanent town founded in America by the English, although it only lasted from 1611 to 1622.
